How to make pizza made with capsicum/Bell Pepper?

 

As winters approach, we feel like eating chili dishes that are both healthy and help keep our body warm. Today, we present to our visitors the best and most effective way to make chili pizza. The chicken, black pepper powder, and onion in this pizza will not only keep you healthy in winters but will also help keep your body warm. So, for this, you need the following ingredients:


  • Pizza Dough
  • Flour — 2 cups
  • Dry Yeast — 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar — 1 teaspoon
  • Salt — ½ teaspoon
  • Warm Water — ½ cup
  • Oil — 2 tablespoons


Topping Ingredients;


  •  Capsicum (Green/Yellow/Red) — 1 cup finely chopped
  •  Onion — ½ cup sliced
  • Tomato — ½ cup finely chopped
  • Mozzarella Cheese — 1 to 1½ cups
  • Chicken BBQ 1 cup (optional)
  • Oregano — ½ teaspoon Black Pepper Powder — ½ teaspoon
  •  Salt — to taste
  • Pizza Sauce — as needed

Method;

1️⃣ Preparing Pizza Dough;

1. Take a bowl and add lukewarm water, yeast and sugar to it and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes so that the yeast gets activated properly.

2. Now add flour, iodized salt and oil in a large bowl.

3. Add yeast water and knead a soft dough. (With clean hands)

4. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 1 to 1½ hours so that it rises and the result is good.

2️⃣ Making the pizza base;

1. When the dough rises, knead it again lightly.

2. Form the dough into a ball and roll it into a round shape.

3. Now make marks on the base by lightly pricking it with a fork so that it does not rise while cooking.

3️⃣ Applying the topping;

1. Carefully spread the pizza sauce well on the pizza base.

2. Apply a nice layer of mozzarella cheese.

3. Place fresh capsicum, onion, tomato and chicken on top.

4. Now sprinkle a little bit more.

5. Finally sprinkle oregano and good quality black pepper.

4️⃣ Baking;

In the oven:

Bake at 180C for 12–15 minutes until the filling is melted and lightly browned.

On a griddle (if you don't have an oven):

  • Preheat the griddle for 5 minutes.
  • Cover the pizza tightly and cook on low heat for 15–20 minutes.

Your delicious bell pepper pizza is ready.

You can eat it hot with mayonnaise, ketchup, chili sauce, or garlic sauce.
